My presentation about the measurement of energy efficiency savings held in Bruxelles on June 10th at the conference “Applying common methods and principles for calculating the impact of energy efficiency obligations schemes or other policy measures under Article 7 of the Energy Efficiency Directive” organized by the EU JRC. Issues and opportunities are summarized, together with the Italian experience linked to the white certificate scheme.
The working paper “Energy efficiency in the building sector: skills, business models and public-private partnerships” synthetically illustrates the results of the related study completed by FIRE and commissioned by ENEL Foundation, yet to be published. The summary illustrates some interesting case studies related to new business models aimed at implementing energy efficiency measures in the building sector.
The presentation I held on October 31st at the IAEE international conference “Sustainable energy policy and strategy for Europe”. Covered topics: the Italian mandatory approach on energy managers and the certification process for energy management experts according to Italian standard UNI CEI 13339.
The presentation held at ECEEE industrial summer study on the 4th of June about the white certificate experience in Italy and particularly on the shift of the scheme from deemed savings file to monitoring plans in the industrial sector. Both the paper and the presentation are available.
